About Gateway Food Pantry
Gateway Food Pantry is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization focused on providing food to those in need and treating each person we serve with dignity and respect. We are one of the largest food distribution centers in the St. Louis area. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and corporate partners, our organization not only provides supplemental food assistance but also helps our neighbors in need with personal hygiene products, household necessities, utility bill assistance, and back-to-school supplies. Because hunger never takes a day off, our volunteers and staff work seven days a week to support our community.
Our Services
Food Assistance
Our food pantry provides regular food assistance to thousands of families each year.
We also provide emergency food assistance on a 'walk-in basis to anyone who needs a helping hand.
Basic Necessities
Patrons of our pantry can request basic necessities every time they pick up food.
Necessities include hygiene products, cleaning supplies, and household items.
Additional Support
Because of the generosity of our donors, our food pantry has been able to provide utility bill assistance, gas cards, winter coats, back-to-school supplies, and other additional supports to our clients from our Client Assistance Fund.
