2024 April Showers Drive a Success

For 26 years, the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri have collected more than 28 million personal care items This year, the Gateway Food Pantry collaborated with the Girls Scouts to benefit from 2024 April Showers campaign. Volunteers stood outside two Schnucks locations with Girls Scouts to collect personal care items from shoppers. Over 1,000 lbs. of personal care items were collected this year.

One of the important ways the Gateway Food Pantry assists our clients is by providing personal care items and household necessities. Each appointment, clients can request items such as toilet paper, laundry detergent, shampoo, and deodorant.
